Hear what Bimbo Akintola had to say about tatoos

    In a generation in which tattoos has become the norm of pop culture and is fast permeating all strata of society, veteran Nollywood actress, Bimbo Akintola has said she’s not interested in having her skin inked anytime soon. In a recent chat with Punch, the actress explained why she doesn’t have tattoos, saying: ‘I cannot do that because I am very lazy. I cannot allow someone use needles on me because I am very skittish. It is painful and I cannot stand it. I like to see people wear them but I cannot.’ Always known as a woman to air her opinions no matter whose ox is gored, Bimbo just showed she can be traditional also.

Wizkid paid for Azonto beat says producers

  With the ongoing Twitter spat between former E.M.E label mates, Wizkid and Skales which Skales kicked off by accusing Wizkid of stealing his beat for his hit song, ‘Azonto,’ the producers of the song, Legendury Beatz have spoken on the issue. According to the producing pair, ‘the Azonto beat was fully paid for by @wizkidayo I don’t know what @youngskales is talking about…I created that beat.’ It looks like one of Skales’ points of claims has been punctured as such by the Nigerian record producing and songwriting duo, consisting of siblings Uzezi Oniko and Okiemute Oniko. However, it would not be out of place also for the producing pair to come to the defence of Wizkid, under whose Starboy Records they are officially signed at the moment.

   It’s a meltdown on Twitter in Nigeria at the moment, as Starboy boss, Wizkid is set to kick off 2015 the way he ended last year – with beefs and tweet fights. This time, the ‘In my bed’ singer has responded to claims by his former label mate, Skales who fired shots at this afternoon that Wizkid stole his song while claiming he have written another song for the Starboy boss. Wizkid, who clearly wouldn’t have any one step on his toes this year, goes in hard on Skales in a series of tweets where he said stuff like: ‘Since u start ur career u never fit drop one album u say u write me song! God punish ur left balls. Skales!!’ Not done with the haul of insults at his former friend, Wizkid continued: ‘Even when the label wanted to drop ur a** cos u didn’t make one naira for 3years! Yemi Alade places curse on hackers

  Pop singer Yemi Alade has rained curses on hackers a fter they tried to break into her Twitter account. The hackers who had successfully broken into her Instagram account made for her Twitter account. Yemi Alade, who recently opened a new Instagram account, took to twitter to curse them saying ‘You evil people trying to hack my twitter after hacking my instagram will work hard all your lives only to loose everything like a plague in the nite’. “Enemies r awake! But Heavenly angels are on guard!” She added. Her Instagram account was hacked by an unknown hacker who goes by the name ‘Mark Gerald’. Jonathan: Shekau Boko haram leader will be caught before election

    - President Goodluck Jonathan disclosed in an interview over the weekend that Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau, will be captured before the general elections which are set to take place on March 28, Premium Times reported.      . It has been difficult to catch Shekau, who is responsible for thousands of deaths across Nigeria. Boko Haram has been a threat to the country since 2009 even more threatening as the general elections are coming up.  

Ayo Fayose congratulates Jonathan on Obasanjo's PDP exit

    The governor of Ekiti state Ayo Fyose is rejoicing with President Jonathan and other PDP members on the exit of Ex-president Obasanjo, via a newspaper advert on the cover of a daily newspaper.     Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State has congratulated President Goodluck Jonathan on the exit of former President, Olusegun Obasanjo from the Peoples Democratic Party. Fayose felicitated with the President and the members of the PDP via a newspaper advert on the cover of a daily newspaper. The governor described Obasanjo as a mole within the PDP and described his exit as good riddance to bad rubbish. Fayose had earlier placed a controversial advert on the cover of another paper apparently prophesying the death of All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari.
